Glass time travels with Urban Decay’s Alice Through the Looking Glass lipstick collection

AFTER previous and successful collaborations with Disney, including Alice in Wonderland Book of Shadows eye-shadow palette, Urban Decay has released another collection celebrating the second film in the Alice saga, Alice Through the Looking Glass, released earlier this year.

The selection of five lipsticks, packaged in tubes with a kaleidoscopic rose pattern, each captures the essence of one of the main characters.

Alice is a sheer nude with a slight white shade which is unfortunately not very flattering on skin tones darker than Mia Wasikowska who portrays Alice in the film. Mad Hatter is fittingly a funky bright purple, while his enemy Time is a metal navy with a silver undertone which imitates one being extremely cold very well.

The two queens are captured in a classic red matte for Iracebeth, the Red Queen, and a plum shade with added glitter for Mirana, the White Queen, who wears a similar shade, slightly more matte and intense, in the film.
