JENNIE becomes the latest face of the Chanel 22 bag

JENNIE, a star from the enigmatic K-Pop girl group BLACKPINK, has fronted the latest campaign for the Chanel 22 bag, merging the French sensibilities of the house with the streets of Seoul and her own creative energy.

Lenses by Inez & Vinoodh, the superstar follows in the footsteps of the likes of Margaret Qualley, Lily-Rose Depp and Whitney Peak, all of whom have brought the tote and backpack versions of the 22 to life.

Exchanging the streets of New York, Los Angeles and Palm Springs, JENNIE leads us through the heart of the South Korean capital. Though an international star, and a member of one of the world’s most adored bands, the campaign instead sees her as an individual, and attempts at capturing an essence of her character and attitude.

“Inez & Vinoodh call me ‘My Girl’. It’s comforting because they see me as a young woman, not just “JENNIE” in the spotlight. As a member of BLACKPINK, I’m constantly in the spotlight, but these images are an accurate representation of who I really am.”
