LUXURY Spanish fashion house, Loewe has unveiled their latest accessory, the Squeeze bag.
The Squeeze has an eccentric and unconventional design with its distinguishing squishy handle, precisely ruched detailing and donut chain which make up the straps. The bag is constructed from soft leather giving the accessory a flexible nature and casual yet luxurious uniqueness.
Initially showcased in the brand’s autumn-winter 2023 runway collection and campaign, the Squeeze demonstrates versatility with its adjustable strap system’s ability to be tucked away in its ruched collar or for more comfortable wearing, can be slid out and worn over the shoulder or across the body.
The distinctive shape and genius donut chain of the accessory demonstrates the innovative and artisanal craftsmanship that sits at the core of Loewe’s ethos. The donut chain is built using a gold-plated, stainless steel and aluminium alloy, a hybrid metal known for its lightweight quality.
The strap features jewellery-inspired carabiners attachable to any link, allowing the wearer to adjust the length of the straps to their liking.
Nappa lambskin leather fabricates the bag and was deliberately developed to be used unlined to provide overall lightness to the structure. The skilful artistry of Loewe’s atelier is apparent in the construction of the Squeeze, from its inside zipped pockets to its structured base supported by piped leather.
Attention to detail is prominent in the accessory with Loewe’s distinctive logo embossed in a subtle gold near the bottom of the bag and its Anagram adorning the pebble-like embellishment at the end of the chain.
The Squeeze is available in sizes small and medium and comes in colourways of Chalk, Chocolate, Oak and Olive as well as Black and Seaside Blue with limited edition versions in Black python and crocodile skin.
In a campaign shot by David Sims, the bag is seen modelled on actress and Global Brand Ambassador Taylor Russell and actress Tang Wei showcasing its unique and sophisticated attitude and its statement qualities.
