COMMEMORATING Jonathan Anderson’s debut as a costume designer for Luca Guadagnino’s new film Challengers, Loewe has just released a series of special edition t-shirts and sweatshirts.
Adorned with the phrase ‘I Told Ya’, the t-shirts are worn by the film’s protagonists and are crafted in lightweight cotton jersey. Meanwhile, the sweatshirts appear in a medium-weight loopback cotton fleece.

Challengers follows the story of a talented tennis professional – played by Zendaya – who gets caught in a complicated love triangle. Exhibiting her acting prowess alongside her co-stars Mike Faist and Loewe Global Brand Ambassador John O’Connor, Zendaya navigates her character’s professional and personal life in Guadagnino’s cinematic masterpiece.
Having previously showcased his love for films throughout this collections, it comes as no surprise that Anderson has bridged the gap between film and fashion. Previously, the designer looked to the work of Stanley Kubrick for autumn-winter 2024 inspiration and worked alongside Christiane Kubrick to create a series of pieces inspired by Eyes Wide Shut. Now, intertwining his playful style with his interest in film, Anderson’s work as a costume designer is certain to impress viewers.
