Louis Vuitton reveals newest men’s fashion jewellery collection by Virgil Abloh

FRENCH fashion house Louis Vuitton has released their newest men’s fashion jewellery collection, envisaged by Vuitton’s Artistic Director Virgil Abloh. A reinterpretation of classic menswear pieces, the collection incorporates leather and chain metal into a selection of staple bracelets, necklaces, and pendants.

Chain Link Patches Necklace

Inspired by Cuban-style of chain accessories, the collection is a nod to hip-hop and urban culture, with dynamic rainbow and multicoloured finishes in a tribute to Pride Month and gay culture.  The coloured enamel is tied together with brass with aged gold effect, Vuitton’s signature monogram engraving, and crystal embellishments in a range of hues united across one chain.

Combining Vuitton’s signature style with Abloh’s distinct approach to street-wear, the collection provides a more laid-back approach to high-fashion jewellery, while maintaining the fashion house’s sense of craftsmanship. Each necklace and bracelet comes with a distinct innovative new system of closing; a clever cylindrical slide specially developed to ensure security.

Although a Menswear collection, the pieces encapsulate a feeling of gender fluidity, crossing the boundaries of masculine and feminine in the creation of a collection that will appeal both men and women.
