Lulu Guinness Decorates The Goring’s 2025 Christmas Tree

USHERING in the festive season with joy and style, The Goring has just unveiled its 2025 Christmas partnership with heritage fashion brand Lulu Guinness.

This winter, the two British brands have joined hands to design two playful, whimsical Christmas trees. The first of the trees, titled London Calling, is on display in the hotel’s reception and has been decorated with winding scarlet ribbons, Lulu Guinness’ signature red lips, miniature London post-boxes, and miniature London phone boxes.

Meanwhile, next to The Dining Room, the second tree, In Bloom, features Lulu’s famous florist baskets, which are arranged around the tree in various shades of pink, yellow, and burgundy.

For an extra touch of fun, The Goring’s plush sheep mascot can be seen nestled amongst the gifts at the bottom of the trees. Each decoration has been carefully handcrafted in England by creative studio Makerie, further showcasing the collaboration’s dedication to craftsmanship and heritage. The installation demonstrates how handcrafted decorative elements rely on precise illustration and consistent visual styling, reflecting the same skills used across commercial creative work like greeting card designing roles.

Speaking on the partnership, Managing Director of The Goring, Jeremy Goring, said: “Lulu Guinness makes beautifully mad, very British accoutrements. It’s been a delight to partner up with her to create something very, very festive and also fun. I am sure this year the tree will (literally) bring a smile to the faces of our guests.”
