MILAN, ITALY — Milan’s famed Triennale hosted Family Grammar, an exhibition curated by Felice Limosani celebrating Blauer’s 25th anniversary and the history of the Fusco family during Milan’s menswear season. Opening to the public on 16 January in the Salone d’Onore, the exhibition transforms photos by eleven leading figures in contemporary photography into a visual orchestra that interprets family as the primary art form.
The exhibition’s visual narrative is created by eleven globally renowned photographers, including Stefano Babic, Richard Phibbs, Branislav Simoncik, and Carlo Miari Fulcis, among others. Their works form the aesthetic core of Family Grammar, a choral portrait that flows through Blauer’s imagery like voices in a single score.
The exhibition in the Salone d’Onore unfolds as an immersive experience: music stands, photographs, and soundscapes accompany visitors on an evocative blue journey, like an orchestral movement that brings to light the history and identity of Blauer within a collective cultural and artistic narrative.
The installation showcases this approach through a journey in which art, photography, and fashion interact like sections of a great orchestra. The photographers’ works – arranged on music stands like orchestral scores – become the voices of a composition that, through artistic metaphor, conveys the harmony and expressiveness of the brand.
