SHUT up and drive. Rihanna’s SS18 show debuting at NYFW alongside Puma takes inspiration from the race track and roads as the collection completely immerses itself within its theme once again.
Painted with an ‘80s colour palette, Fenty x Puma refuels with flip-flop heels, bum-bags and racing fonts as the superstar revs up the sportswear brand and packs it with new creativity.
The motor-cross runway featuring everything from pink sand dunes to sun-visors saw the likes of Adriana Lima and Adwoa Aboah showcase the new gear. Literally prompting you to buckle up, buckle straps appeared upon jackets, dresses and hats as they were both tightened up and let loose to add an extra layer to the striking garments.
Bold and daring, Rihanna once again proves her versatility as a sportswear designer being inspired by new silhouettes and colour palettes. The pieces are to inspire new looks within streetwear as Fenty x Puma drives towards brighter hues and a new age of practicality in fashion.
