OMEGA has revealed its latest addition to the Seamaster collection, a new Planet Ocean Dark Grey wristwatch constructed from silicon nitride ceramic.
The brand is known for its long-established innovative and state-of-the-art technology, and this year they are building on its heritage with the latest timepiece.
Omega Planet Ocean Dark Grey Seamaster
This is the first time Omega has used silicon nitride in their watchmaking craft on an extensive scale. The outcome ensures toughness while keeping the product lightweight, making it the perfect watch for any adventure. The lightness of the material makeup allows for comfortable, elongated periods of wear while still guaranteeing its robust nature.
The dark grey material is utilised for the 45.5mm case body, patented NAIAD LOCK case back and the bezel ring. Other segments of the watch’s construction comprise Grade 5 titanium for the bezel body and strap folding clasp alongside the sand-blasted dial possessing anthracite hands and indexes.
The specific grade of titanium used is an alloy often utilised by the aerospace industry, a fact that further showcases the product’s durability and lightweight structure.

It is situated behind a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coverage on its sides. The watch is water-resistant down to 600 meters which expands on the Seamaster collections spectacular ocean technology.
