Porsche’s Famous Pepita Check Gets a New Look with PUMA

PORSCHE has never been short of iconic design details, and few are as recognisable as the Pepita check. First seen on the seats of the Porsche 356 before becoming a familiar feature of the original 911, the black-and-white pattern has been part of the marque’s story since the 1950s.

Now, PUMA has given the heritage check a fresh outing with the new PUMA x Porsche Legacy Pepita Collection for this Winter.

Porsche x PUMA

The collection takes one of Porsche’s best-known interior details and applies it across everyday pieces, from the T7 Jacket and hoodies to PUMA’s Speedcat and Suede trainers, offering Porsche heritage with contemporary sportswear.

Pepita has long been a favourite among Porsche enthusiasts, particularly those restoring early models or searching for original specs. And, while trends come and go, the graphic check has remained timeless, proving that some of the best ideas do not need reinventing.

Porsche x PUMA

The latest release continues the longstanding partnership between PUMA and Porsche, although this time the spotlight falls on heritage rather than horsepower – it’s a reminder that some of the most memorable parts of a car are not always found under the bonnet; sometimes they’re stitched into the seats.
