Puma taps Sekou as its latest brand ambassador


BRITISH singer-songwriter Sekou has just been announced as PUMA’s newest brand ambassador.

Fronting the brand’s Super Team campaign, the Ashby, Leicester-born artist first entered the industry at the age of 16. Having garnered attention online from his soulful singing covers, Sekou was quickly signed to NWS Music.

Tapping into the church and his love for Gospel music, Sekou gained attention from affluent names such as Quincy Jones, Timbaland, John Legend, Labrinth, Anderson.Paak, Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa and many more.

Now, at the age of 19, Sekou continues to expand his presence and is the youngest-ever nominee for the BRITs’ Rising Star award and Amazon Music Breakthrough UK: Artists to Watch 2024. His debut single Better Man captured listeners’ hearts at Glastonbury in 2022 thanks to his effortlessly smooth vocals.

Honing his craft and talent, the rising star utilises his platform to inspire and motivate like-minded individuals to embrace their own creativity and uniqueness. To kick off the partnership, Sekou stars in PUMA’s Super Team Suede campaign.

Taking place in the recording studio, the shoot exemplifies the artist’s relaxed, laid-back style. Appearing in the latest Super Team Suede release – now reintroduced in Fresh Mint, Blue Skies and Team Regal Red –  the singer poses confidently in the practical attire.
