Rabanne Heads to Andalucía for its Latest Campaign

RABANNE has returned to Spain to mark its 60th anniversary, with a new campaign set in Andalucía, the region that connects back to the birthplace of founder Paco Rabanne. The project follows the brand’s previous campaign in Rio de Janeiro and continues a series that places fashion and beauty within different cultural settings.

The campaign features dancer Carmen Avilés alongside members of the Farruquito family, one of flamenco’s best-known dynasties. Actor Mitch, recently nominated for Best New Actor at the Goya Awards, also appears, while the soundtrack was developed with guitarist Yerai Cortés.

According to the brand, the campaign looks to Andalucía in spring, when celebrations such as Semana Santa and the Feria shape daily life. As such, flamenco is a key reference throughout, with a focus on both established figures and a younger generation of performers. Rabanne described the campaign as a return to “the Spanish roots of its founder” and to his interest in movement and the body; the house also points to the influence of Paco Rabanne’s designs, which explored the relationship between clothing, light and movement.

Filmed across Andalucía, the campaign concludes in El Rocío, the village known for its annual pilgrimage. There, fashion and beauty come together within a wider cast of musicians, dancers and performers. The release forms part of Rabanne’s year-long celebrations marking six decades of the house.
