RE/DONE announce capsule with Pamela Anderson

DENIM brand RE/DONE has recently unveiled its latest collaboration with famed model Pamela Anderson.

The brand, known for bringing an essence of individuality to the denim industry, was launched in 2014 in Los Angeles, California, by Sean Barron and Jamie Mazur, who went into the business with the notion of giving a new life to old clothes resulting in RE/DONE pioneering upcycling, being brought to the frontline of the industry.

The collaboration sees a sustainable collection of pieces redefining Anderson’s most iconic looks while incorporating her sentiment for the planet and all life forms by ensuring environmental responsibility as a crucial element acknowledged throughout the collection’s process.

Anderson took centre stage as the campaign model, shot by an all-female team with the likes of Lolita Jacobs, Java Jacobs, Lea Colombo, Katie Burnett, and Cyndle Komarovski as part of the campaign crew.

Together, the women created a series of imagery adventuring into the interaction between colour and emotion as a technique to display the model’s vivacious and playful character.

The capsule comprises various sustainable fabrics and materials, including recycled and upcycled vintage alongside vegan leather, with each garment in the collection consciously crafted in line with green methods.

Twenty-five pieces constitute the collection, with the centre of attention being denim and t-shirts. Each garment is created with eco-consciousness at its core, and a guarantee of low-impact washes, recycled denim and sweaters, California-grown regenerative cotton, apple-skin leather, and untreated organic cotton.
