Smythson of Bond Street Opens in Liberty London

SMYTHSON of Bond Street has opened a new concession at Liberty, bringing together two of Britain’s most beloved heritage brands under one roof.

Located on the third floor of Liberty’s homeware department, the space offers a selection of Smythson’s core categories, including its signature diaries, notebooks and stationery, alongside leather accessories and a curated edit of the brand’s bestselling bags. In keeping with Smythson’s tradition of personalisation, customers at Liberty will be able to add initials or motifs to selected pieces using silver or gold foiling.

Smythson x Liberty

To mark the opening, Smythson and Liberty have collaborated on an exclusive, limited-edition Smythson x Liberty collection. The first drop offered everything from notebooks and diaries in the classic Liberty Purple, Smythson’s Nile Blue and a seasonal Coral colour-way.

Expect the brand’s Panama cross-grain leather and Mara croc-embossed leather, available in Panama and Soho sizes. Inside each piece, Liberty silk is used, colour-matched to the exterior.

Smythson x Liberty Print Collection

The recent second edit continues the theme, featuring a range of Smythson’s most recognisable accessories, including the Passport Cover, Luggage Tag and Flat Card Holder, crafted in Mara leather in Liberty Purple.

The Smythson X Liberty collection is available exclusively in the UK at Liberty’s flagship store and via libertylondon.com.

International customers will be able to purchase the collection through Smythson’s own website.
