Swarovski adds sparkling brilliance to the Vienna Opera Ball 2023 with special Tiara

THE Vienna Opera Ball, one of Austria’s most prestigious cultural events, will once again feature the sparkling Swarovski Tiara as its ‘crowning glory’.

The 2023 design draws inspiration from the Swarovski Stella jewellery collection, paying homage to the famous jewels of Empress Sissi and capturing the essence of stars in the night sky. Each tiara is expertly crafted with 435 clear crystals and features a central star with a mesmerising dancing gem-stone surrounded by shimmering shooting stars.

Swarovski’s CEO Alexis Nasard shared his company’s pride in being a part of this cultural tradition, as he shared: “The tiaras that Swarovski has created for decades for the Vienna Opera Ball are a symbol of the unique savoir-faire that is at the heart of our creations and a testament to a century-long heritage of Swarovski history.”

The glittering Swarovski Tiara will be the centrepiece as 144 debutantes will open the Vienna Opera Ball on February 16, 2023.
