THE HOLIDAY season in New York City is truly a time of enchantment. The city unfolds pure festive magic worthy of any fairy tale.
In honour of celebrating this joyous season, Swarovski has collaborated with the legendary New York destination – The Mark Hotel. The jewellery brand turned the beloved hotel into a shimmering gingerbread house and ushered it into “a world of crystallised fantasy.”
As Swarovski CEO Alexis Nasard shared, “New York City is synonymous with the holidays, which makes this a natural partnership for us. Swarovski brings joy to everyone through our creations, and we are delighted to ignite this year’s celebrations with our ornaments and figurines, which truly showcase Swarovski’s creativity and unique savoir-faire.”
Featuring a roof covered in fake sugar frosting adorned with a magnificent crystallized bow and accompanied by two nutcracker guards, the hotel’s facade, designed by Swarovski Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert, was transformed into an iconic holiday treat, complete with two coordinating candy carts that greet the guests with hot chocolate and edible crystal lollipops.
Additionally, the guests are encouraged to fantasise about what presents they could receive this year as they peruse the stack of green Swarovski boxes that circle the base of the building.
