FOR Spring/ Summer 2027, Taller Marmo imagines a decadent after-party at a villa on the Mediterranean coast. Here, the guests are strangers, the host is a mystery, and the sun is beginning to rise – it’s a suitably glamorous setting for Mediterranean, a collection that suits the beach as it does an evening out.
Established in 2013 by Riccardo Audisio and Yago Goicoechea, Taller Marmo is known for its flowing kaftans and evening dresses, often finished with fringe or feathers for good measure. The label is now based in Milan, and this season, it takes those familiar shapes towards the sea.

The colours follow the changing light; think pearl, silver and buttermilk along with terracotta, rust, coral and deep brown. Flowing kaftans and loose, blouson-style dresses return; halter necklines nod to the ’70s, and plenty of high slits and uneven hems give the clothes swishy movement.
The sea finds its way into the fabrics thanks to the silk chiffon from the archives of a Como mill, featuring Sixties and Seventies designs of fish, coral and starfish; metallic organza has a wet sheen, while textured sequins resemble sea urchins and mother-of-pearl. Fringe and ostrich feathers add a playful touch.

Knitwear makes its debut this season; the pareo appears across dresses, trousers and swimwear, with matching wraps giving swimsuits the look of short dresses. To complete the looks, there are bandana headscarves and oversized shawls for added TM glamour.
