Trudon and Émilie Bouge celebrate summer with a Mediterranean-inspired perfume and candle

CELEBRATING the summer heat with Mediterranean allure, Trudon has just released an elegant capsule collection in collaboration with Émilie Bouge.

Consisting of a delicate perfume – Isla – and a scented candle – De Oro – the offering evokes scents reminiscent of Andalusian palaces, fragrant gardens and serene seashores. Pursuing citrusy freshness and luminosity, bergamot is the main ingredient in the two formulations.

Revered in haute perfumery for its universal modernity, the zesty top note works in tandem with grapefruit essence, cardamom essence, petitgrain Paraguay essence and petitgrain lemon tree essence in Bouge’s new fragrance, Isla.

Having previously worked with Trudon to create its Ernesto, Cyrnos, Versailles and Vixi perfumes, Bouge’s olfactory expertise continues to guide the luxury brand to new sensory heights.

Whereas Isla explores bergamot’s distinct citrusy accord, De Oro taps into its floral side. Featuring the fruit as its top note alongside laurel essence, blackcurrant buds absolute, petitgrain essence and mandarin essence, the candle gives every interior the air of a Mediterranean getaway.

The candle also features heart notes of tuberose absolute, orange tree absolute, rosemary flowers, gardenia and jasmine, which effortlessly combine with its peach, cedar and lily base notes.

Capturing the fleeting nature of summer light, the perfume and candle’s packaging features a sunny-yellow gradient design, which exudes midsummer charm and glamour.
