Wrap Party: Celebrating 40 years of Diane von Furstenberg

Marking the fashion house’s 40th year, Diane von Furstenberg celebrate one of their most iconic designs with Journey of a Dress: a global project which sends the decade-spanning wrap dress around the world, worn by some of fashion’s most influential figures.

The power of the wrap dress comes from women around the world. How they have worn it, what they’ve accomplished, and how it has made them feel,” said Diane von Furstenberg. “Every woman has her own style and point of view and I am very excited to see where these women take the dress and how they each make it their own!”

Coinciding with the fashion house’s retrospective at the Wilshire May Company Building, Los Angeles, the monthly initiative features fashion insiders and famed bloggers, documenting their wrap dress tales in a webisode series on dvf.com.

See below for the video debut, featuring Coco Rocha sharing her love for the timeless design.
