So, as we stand on the sidelines and watch our lives fall back into place, Levi Palmer and Matthew Harding took the opportunity for SS22 to look deep within and to society to provide some form of rebirth.

Addressing what has happened but also designing for a future that is centred around healing the scars of this pandemic, palmer//harding’s dedication to becoming more sustainable and conscious continues.
The 35-look collection balanced formal, contemporary day-wear with the occasional dress made for evenings – the stark reality of our tamer lives.

Extravagant ruffled sleeves, exposed skin through cut-outs and split hem trousers allowed for some optimism to creep into the clothing, however, though this collection is potentially more grounded than others we have seen this Fashion Week, the duo have not left elegance behind. Utterly wearable, achieving the equilibrium of youthful yet professional through silhouettes, fabric choice and functionality.

Though Palmer and Harding may be more realistic dreamers, the collection still stands tall amongst the crowd of feathers and sequins by offering clothes targeted directly to their consumer.
The brand knows who they are, and understands what the wearer wants and she wants to be comfortable. Comfortably chic.
