Boutique hotel Henry’s Townhouse launches new collection of home fragrances

HENRY’S Townhouse, the former home of Jane Austen’s favourite brother Henry has been transformed into an elegant and unique boutique hotel and private members’ club in the heart of Marylebone. The present owners Jane and Steven Collins have worked with  the award-winning Russell Sage Studio to  create a townhouse that is curious, engaging and full of Georgian glamour.

As well as this the Collins have launched a line of six candles, entitled Henry’s Townhouse which evoke various moods of the Townhouse itself.

The pillar of the candle collection, Henry’s Townhouse, conjures up the fashion of gentlemen wearing musky colognes, while Monsieur Halavant’s Pantry combines cinnamon and clove to create a warming surrounding of the kitchen of the Austen’s former house chef.

All candles are contained in stylish ivory jars decorated with different black and gold cameos. Not only are they fragrances to be enjoyed, but they are, when finished, a keepsake ornament to be reused.
