With sweeping aerial views from every side of the hotel, from the famed Hollywood sign to the glistening sandy beaches of Santa Monica, it is hard to let go of your phone with photo opportunities arriving at every corner as you explore the InterContinental.
In keeping with the nature of the American spirit, bigger really does mean better as ceilings are elevated to new heights and rooms are expanded to mirror the same oversized aesthetic giving guests a refreshingly bright and airy space to relax in.

The sleek, grey contemporary interior follows through the floors and into the rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows acting as a border to the design. Cleverly playing with the elements from the outside, the bright lights and vibrant nature of the city act as an exciting backdrop to the minimalistic taste of the hotel.
With the visuals of this property acting as a vital reason to stay, the InterContinental’s culinary offerings are equally as persuasive. Its French steakhouse La Boucherie adds a comforting European touch to my visit with its meticulously crafted menu – rethink everything you know about mustard, have a go at choosing from its 1,200 hand-selected award-winning wine list, and save room for its bone-in Tomahawk steak.
And don’t forget to visit the 73rd floor, the home to Spire73 for some before or after dinner snacks and cocktails to enjoy from arguably the best view in town.
