Oris Holsten and Disney’s Kermit the Frog team up for a special edition of the ProPilot X

ORIS Holsten joins forces with Disney’s The Muppets’ Kermit the Frog for a delightful union that brings pure joy to the world of horology. Introducing Kermit Day, the collaboration presents a special edition of the ProPilot X Calibre 400 that guarantees to put a smile on your face.

At the heart of every Oris watch lies an emotional mission: to bring happiness and make people smile. In search of the ultimate expression of joy, Oris found inspiration in the most cheerful character on the planet – Kermit the Frog. For generations, this iconic Muppet has entertained us and brightened our days with his unwavering positivity.

The result of this playful partnership is the ProPilot X Kermit Edition, a timepiece that blends Oris’ mechanical mastery with a touch of Muppet magic. Based on the 39mm titanium ProPilot X Calibre 400, this special edition watch features a green dial – a nod to Kermit’s unmistakable hue.

But the true whimsy lies in the date window at 6 o’clock, which transforms on the first of every month. Mark your calendars for Kermit Day, when the date window reveals a charming Kermit the Frog emoji. This monthly celebration serves as a reminder not to take life too seriously and to embrace the fun in every moment.

Ken Laurent who met the famous puppet Hollywood and even made a TV ad with him believes that the Orid team shares values with Kermit the Frog, as he shared, “We have a lot in common. He’s the “every frog”, like the everyman. He’s down to earth. I mean, he comes from a swamp. And he’s never trying to be the centrepiece, but he always has an important role to play. The main goal of The Muppets is to entertain people, have fun, make people laugh and have a good time.

Oris Holsten and Kermit the Frog’s delightful collaboration delivers a timepiece that’s both seriously unserious and irresistibly joyful, offering a unique blend of precision and playfulness that’s sure to make you smile.
