CELEBRATING floral beauty, Roger Vivier has unveiled a romantic and decadent short film for their Autumn/ Winter 2025 campaign titled La Rose Vivier.
Founded in 1937, Roger Vivier is celebrated for elevating shoes into objects of art. With innovations such as the hailed stiletto heel and sculptural silhouettes, the Maison has long married technical mastery with imaginative flourish.
Now, under the creative direction of Gherardo Felloni, Roger Vivier continues to honour this legacy of craftsmanship while reinterpreting its icons with wit, boldness, and a distinctly modern sensibility.

We first see the star of this film Eva Green, who has starred in Casino Royale and Bernardo Bertolucci’s The Dreamers, standing before a canvas of roses. True to the houses identity, Green encompass a rare combination of whimsical elegance. Wearing the classically beautiful Virgule slingback, she contemplates the blooming flowers before slipping and being absorbed into their world.
Green’s journey unfolds through Roger Vivier’s icons, each reimagined with a contemporary verve. The Belle Vivier returns in leopard pony calfskin, a motif lifted from the archives and sharpened by Gherardo Felloni’s eye for contrast. Alongside it, the Belle Vivier bag arrives in both leopard and classic shades, while the Viv’ Choc bag, carried by Green from the opening scene, offers an architectural counterpoint to the rose’s soft, organic curves.

The film traces Green’s vanishing into an imagined landscape, as a guard searches fruitlessly through deserted galleries. Presence and absence, heritage and invention, fashion and cinema intertwine in this meditation rather than a narrative.
In La Rose Vivier, Eva Green becomes both witness and apparition, while the rose itself blooms as a bridge between Vivier’s sculptural past and its visionary future.
