MONTBLANC has produced chic writing instruments since 1906, with the Meisterstück line forming the core of its range. Now the Meisterstück Romeo & Juliet Collection builds on that foundation with six editions that apply literary references to established Montblanc materials and techniques.
Inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the collection incorporates feather, leaf and thorn motifs, with red accents across all models, with each writing instrument featuring a nib that’s engraved with a heart and dagger.
Montblanc Romeo & Julet Meisterstück Editions
The Juliet editions are produced in cream-coloured precious resin, with feather-patterned caps, gold-coated fittings, thorn detailing, and solid gold nibs engraved “Juliet” in Au 585 or Au 750, depending on the edition.
The Romeo editions use deep teal precious resin, featuring leaf-patterned caps, platinum-coated fittings, thorn detailing, and solid gold nibs engraved “Romeo” in Au 585 or Au 750. The Romeo & Juliet Solitaire LeGrand Edition combines both characters in a single design, with a teal degradé lacquer cap and barrel, a gold-outlined leaf motif, intertwined “C” and “M” initials beneath the Montblanc emblem, and a solid Au 750 gold nib engraved “R + J”.
Montblanc Romeo & Julet Meisterstück Editions
The Limited Edition 715 is crafted in Ag 925 sterling silver with lacquered leaf motifs, three solid gold inlays depicting two doves and a moon, red jasper detailing on the cap top, and a solid Au 750 gold nib engraved “R + J”. The limitation number references the seven-day timeline of the play and Act I, Scene V.
Poet Charlie Child at Claridge’s in celebration of the launch of Montblanc Romeo & Julet Meisterstück Editions
To coincide with the launch, Montblanc had partnered with Claridge’s for Love Letters from London, a Valentine’s week initiative focused on handwritten correspondence. Running from the 10th to the 13th of February 2026, British poet and artist Charlie Child will serve as Claridge’s first Poet-in-Residence, writing bespoke love notes daily in the hotel’s Art Deco lobby using Montblanc writing instruments.
Guests and visitors will also be invited to write and post their own letters via Claridge’s historic working letter box, with worldwide postage offered free of charge.
The collection is accompanied by leather notebooks in cream and teal, a paired two-pen pouch, rose-shaped silver cufflinks and a special edition Verona Red ink.
