PURPLE Ski’s Chalet Pierre, when it was first built in the late 1950s in Méribel, helped confirm the reputation of a resort (established by a Scotsman, Peter Lindsay) that became especially popular with British skiers.
Chalet Pierre, remaining in the same family, has now been rebuilt and welcomes its first guests in December 2026, boosting its appeal for luxury accommodation in the Trois Vallées ski area.
Living Room
There are three floors to the chalet, the top one being home to a large and open living area with floor-to-ceiling windows for maximising soul-calming views of the mountains. Canapés and champagne round off a day’s activities before settling down at the dining table, large enough to accommodate everyone, for four-course dinners from a full team of staff. The full aprés-ski scene is available close by in Méribel’s centre.

Master Bedroom
While the master bedroom is also situated on the top floor, the other en-suite bedrooms are spread across the other two floors. In addition, there is a cinema, a games room and a wellness area with a hot tub, hammam and massage treatment room. Unlimited access to the luxury Lac Bleu residence next door is also available to use the spa, gym and swimming pool.
