Luxury leather label, Jitrois have recently revealed their latest fashion film for AW15. The short clip entitled Lucid Wonderland displays the brand’s new collection in abstract video form.
Combining a retro ‘70s vibe with a futuristic twist, the film that was directed Jamie Brunskill and conceptualised by graphic designer Ari Weinkle, uses intense animation to bring life to the designs. A modern fantasy, the contemporary display portrays striking models being consumed by an eerie force. The juxtaposition of human and sub-human form makes for an interesting watch as the vibrant clothes are highlighted and presented alongside the story.
The bold background and eccentric graphics blended well with the simple colour scheme as black leather took the spotlight. A mixture of feminine and masculine shape counteracted any harshness, with delicate petal detailing and fur collars romanticising the tailored outfits. These luxurious touches complimented the traditional fabric and created a very modern finish.
Jitrois has channelled their French heritage and leather speciality to create a collection that embodies style and sophistication. With a hint of vintage and a touch of contemporary design, ‘Lucid Wonderland’s’ use of chic simplicity has produced a marvellous film.
