Shamballa Jewels launches in Harrods and Farfetch

THE Danish luxury brand Shamballa Jewels continues to extend its reach, as the company launched its jewellery collection in the British department store Harrods and the online luxury retail platform Farfetch earlier this month.

Since the conception of the Shamballa bracelet in 2005, the jewellery brand has set out to combine precious gemstones with casual dressing and in doing so revolutionised men’s jewellery.

Taking its name from the Kingdom of Shamballa, the designer Mads Kornerup, unifies Eastern ideologies with Western design. Inherent to each Shamballa design is their four-point star logo, representing love, joy, compassion and wisdom, emphasizing the connection to the inner spirituality of the wearer.

The collection being sold consists of their highly personal and customisable classic braided bead bracelets, as well as bangles and the more recent lock bracelets, for both men and women. All designs effortlessly combine Eastern philosophy inspired by the founder Mads Kornerup’s travel trinkets, with exquisite Danish craftsmanship, as each piece is polished and finished by hand in Copenhagen.
