THE INTIMATE setting of the BFC Discovery Lab perfectly compliment Bianca Saunders’ SS20 show for LFWM, titled Character.
Born and raised in London, she graduated with a MA from The Royal College of Art in 2017. Her menswear label provides a more feminine wave of menswear. The designer cites her close network of friends and family as her inspiration. In Character she delves into these male identities in a personal manner which is communicated through the physical closeness to the models one experiences in the lab.
Models wear tights, reinforcing the femininity of the collection, and a DJ sits on the floor providing the accompanying music.
