AJ Odudu’s SERVED Celebrates International Women’s Day

AT ISABEL Mayfair, television presenter AJ Odudu gathered an inspiring group of women for the latest SERVED dinner, taking this initiative outside of her home to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Over candlelight, cocktails and beautifully curated dishes, guests shared stories, laughter and reflections on creativity, community and ambition, setting the tone for an evening that felt equal parts intimate dinner party and joyful tribute to women supporting women.

In her own words, AJ takes us through her night.

What is SERVED? SERVED is my supper series built around one simple idea: bringing interesting people together around a table. I started it last year with my friend and product designer Chris Elphick.

I hosted a special International Women’s Day edition of SERVED at Isabel Mayfair. It was the first time bringing my supper series beyond my home and it felt like the perfect setting for the occasion.

For this Served International Women’s Day edition, I invited a brilliant group of women working across fashion, media, tech, publishing and entrepreneurship.

I always want the space to feel warm and welcoming, somewhere people feel comfortable enough to share stories and connect. I personally decorated the table with candles and flowers, carefully curated a seating plan where people sat next to someone they may not know and wrote prompts at the back of name cards to spark new conversations.

I shared why I started SERVED and why bringing people together intentionally feels more important than ever.

A room full of brilliant women, great food and even better conversation. Exactly what SERVED is all about.
