Balenciaga presents a Glow in the Dark capsule collection

IN recent months Balenciaga’s creative director – Demna Gvasalia – has incorporated elements of rave culture into the fashion houses designs, having unveiled their A/W21 collection in the form of a dystopian game, which hosts an in-game rave. Balenciaga’s new Glow in the Dark capsule collection embraces a distinctive symbol of rave – the smiley – rendering in an acid green hue.

The collection is comprised of T–shirts, hoodies, pool slides, socks and classic baseball caps. Pieces are adorned with signature Balenciaga logos including the new lions–and–laurels and the double B emblem, which only radiates a neon blaze once activated by a light source.
