HAVING hinted at a potential partnership after an array of red carpet looks including the 2023 Met Gala, Burberry has announced Irish actor Barry Keoghan as its latest Global Brand Ambassador.
First gaining recognition for his critically-acclaimed performance in The Killing of a Sacred Deer, the Irish actor has gone on to become one of the biggest and brightest names on-screen. After his BAFTA award-winning role in Banshees of Inisherin last year, and again-nominated for Saltburn this year, Keoghan has been hailed as the man-of-the-moment.
Now, the star is moving is slowly tapping into fashion with this appointment. “I’ve been a fan of Burberry for many years now,” explained Keoghan. “It’s such an iconic heritage brand with innovation at its heart, and a commitment to supporting arts and culture. I’m very excited to be a part of this chapter”.
Touching upon Keoghan, Daniel Lee, Chief Creative Officer, stated: “I’ve known Barry for over 5 years now and have watched him grow into one of his generation’s most talented actors. His raw, unique talent is incredibly inspiring and perfectly reflects the spirit of our brand”.
