BOTTEGA VENETA’S pre-spring 24 collection oozes playfulness and luxury with its accents of bright colours and cartoon prints paired with the brand’s ultimate eye for sophistication and its atelier’s craftsmanship.
The house famed for its leather craft, reimagined the material into basics this season as it fabricated various garments.
Bottega’s Intrecciato weave, which primarily constructs their bags, has been reinterpreted into a mint green, white and burgundy coat, as well as a yellow and dark green shirt with a matching pair of trousers and a red and white mule, all established in leather.
Oversized silhouettes give the collection a contemporary flair with demin co-ords in a checkered-like textured material and a stone brown coloured suit resembling a canvas-like appearance.
A causal pair of grey sweatpants is accessorised with the Hop bag, and a sock-like heel, titled the Atomic Boot further elevates the look. A knitted jumper is paired with pinstripe shorts, and a glen plaid blazer finishes a white shirt, grey cardigan and jeans.
A fur-like coat accompanies leather brown trousers, and cartoons adorn a white and blue shirt alongside a maxi skirt displaying two characters kissing on a ladder.
Various plaids adorn boxy blazers and vests with knitted trimmings and Bottega’s signature, and a sophisticated ruffled black dress brings simplicity to the collection.
As for the bags, some of Bottega’s recognised silhouettes accessorise the looks, such as the Andiamo in a bubblegum pink, the Cobble in classic black and the Kalimero Bucket Bag in a white and blue weave.
