WHOEVER decided to wear high heels for Dior’s Cruise Show this year, I guess they had to reconsider this idea. With the extravagant runway located in the middle of the desert of California’s Santa Monica Mountains, guests were forced to swap theirs elegant and chic footwear and replace it with heavy boots, which were the only reasonable option considering the beautiful, yet muddy surroundings.

The astonishing location chosen by the new Dior’s artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri turned out to be a brilliant surprise, as well as the collection itself.

Skirts and ponchos, completed with eye-catching, silk graphic elements, cotton and lace dresses as well as fur pieces- it all made the collection very subtle, feminine and at the same time, quite contemporary, which is a perfect match for every modern women with a sophisticated sense of style.

To complete this unforgettable experience, Dior Sauvage air balloons were located all over the set to create a magical atmosphere, which left the viewers quite impressed.
