Christopher Kane continues to push the envelope in his 2015 Resort Wear collection. A wild combination of his previous lines was shown this season, including floral motifs, animal prints and splashes of neon. Kane has blurred the line between earlier generations, integrating 1960s flower inspiration along with ‘80s design combinations and bold colours. Taking risks in every piece, he brought the inside out with his hints of lingerie and cut out the unnecessary, from décolletés to elbows. Kane’s technical ability mixed with his ostentatious fabric choices have made visual entertainment a well known characteristic of this designer.
