DIOR unveils actress and model Deva Cassel as their newest International Fashion and Beauty Ambassador.
Cassel, who has recently joined the brand as Ambassador for fashion creation by Artistic Director Maria Grazia Chiuri, has also taken on the role as the new face of Dior’s beauty line by Creative and Image Director Peter Philips.
The model and actress was born in Rome, Italy, in 2004 but grew up travelling between France, Italy and Brazil. Always having a passion for the arts — possibly inherited by her parents, actress Monica Bellucci and actor Vincent Cassel — Cassel has splashed around in the world of singing and painting and even attended drama classes throughout her childhood.
Naturally, her love of the arts led to her exploration of the fashion world, where Cassel started her modelling career at age 16. She was soon fronting the cover pages of renowned fashion magazines and walking Fashion Week shows, which brought about her title as one of the highest-profile top models to date.
In conjunction with her modelling career, Cassel has continued to adventure into the realm of acting and cinema with her appearance in the film La Bella Estate, directed by Laura Luchetti and has also been cast for the Netflix series The Leopard, a cinematic take on the novel, The Leopard, by Giuseppe Tomasi de Lampedusa.
