COMPLEMENTING the hand-crafted silhouettes and soft lines presented at Dior SS20 in Paris last week, creative and image director of Christian Dior make up Peter Philips created a naturally groomed appearance that featured healthy, glowing skin and a flawless complexion.

The luminoisty of Philips’s skincare and make-up routine for the models started with the most fundamental step– preparation. Philips used the Dior Homme Dermo System line, starting with Soothing After-shave loation then the Invigorating Moisturising Emulsion, as a final touch he applied a touch of the Anti-Fatigue Firming Eye Serum.

After the skincare routine, Philips started with the natural makeup look, as a base that is both transparent and hydrating, the Dior Backstage Face & Body Primer is applied to blur any potential flaws. After the primer, Philips started with light touches of the Dior Backstage Face & Body foundation and Dior Forever Undercover Concealor. To top it the luminescent natural look, brows were given a structured look with the help of Diorshow Brow Styler and Diorshow Pump ‘N’ Brow, while lips were moisturised and slightly plumped with Lip Maximser.

To accompany the structure of the brows and natural appearance, hair was styled by Guido Palau to look neat and shiny in a style that is decidedly both classic and modern.
