Dior presents an insight into the craftsmanship behind the Astro vase

ONCE again, highlighting on the refinement of its virtuoso artistry prevalent in the French Maison, Dior celebrates the art of detail and unveils imagery showcasing the intricate process of creation behind the Astro vase and some unique Christmas Ornaments.

Handmade, the pieces were developed as a result of a creative dialogue with the Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy and designed by the house’s long-time collaborator Pietro Ruffo. Using Ruffo’s exquisite Constellation motifs, they are drawn on the fired earthenware using tissue paper and transfer. To accentuate the beauty of the intricate details, the key colour palette is blue, finally completed with crystal powder.
