Dare we say it, but we’re not huge fans of the matte lip, however “on-trend” it may be. Admittedly it does look gorgeous on those blessed with a full pout, echoing 1940s glamour, but for those with small or thin lips, it gives us the appearance of a stern schoolmarm. Not to mention leaving our lips seriously parched. And lets face it, if you’re going to rock a red lip, you might as well let the world know about it, with a rich, shimmering, glossy number. The 20 shades are not only very wearable (the reddish brown Decadant reminds us of a 1990s Cindy Crawford), they deliver a lightweight, creamy, shimmering colour with up to six hours staying power. They’re also packed with hyaluronic acid which keeps the delicate skin on our lips happy too. Take your pick from browns, pinks, berries, corals – and of course some show-stopping reds.
