Eudon Choi’s pre-fall 2021 collection launches

NAMED Rewa, the Bhutanese word for hope, Eudon Choi presents his pre-fall 2021 collection inspired by exploration and escapism. With the theme resonating with us all, the South Korean designer is travelling through his clothes.

The SS21 collection saw us travel to Italy as we were immersed in terracotta and sand hues contrasted with blues reminiscent of the Mediterranean, but now we have been transported to southern Asia, to the Kingdom of Bhutan.

The designer explains the visual references of the nomad, “After the lockdown, we all wanted to escape and be a nomad for a few months”. This idea of continuing to move with no fixed home has weaved itself through this and the previous collection effortlessly.

The combination of fabrics, from eclectic prints to muted tones and splashes of bright colour, the pre-fall collection presents a sense of optimism.
