DENIM – made for its durability for labourers, coal miners and mill workers in the U.S. in the 1840s. Here this fabric of legend is being reused and reclaimed, re-birthed to make consciously sourced clothes that are as practical and sustainable as they are beautiful.
In this story by photographer Andrew Woffinden denim is explored as an environmentally friendly fabric teamed with staples from brands with a sustainable approach – recycled, re-worked, re-done.
