Glass reviews Givenchy’s latest make-up collection

GIVENCHY has released a profusion of pearly pink products, introducing a new blush variant of their famed Prisme Libre loose setting powder, a fusion of four illuminating tones that flatter the skin in all settings. As well as this, the brand has also reimagined the Rose Perfecto Lip Balm in a larger size – complete with a silky, marbled texture, encased in a powder pink leather case.

And it appears Givenchy is dedicated to the mantra of Think Pink with this collection, also launching the new Irresistible Givenchy Eau de Toilette, a perfume that hovers over the skin in a floral haze, with the blush-pink juice contained in a stylistic bottle.

Prisme Libre Blush in Voile Corail. £38.50 for 12ML at Givenchy

A mosaic of four luminous shades, the Prisme Libre Blush is formulated with a harmonious blend of velvety, ultrafine texture, adorning the cheeks in a radiant flush, which settles on the skin, without suffocating it. The complimentary shades are permeated with differing finishes, conjuring a blush that is fused with flickers of shimmer and subtle matte grains, equally sculpting and enhancing the face.

I used the shade Voile Corail, a radiant bloom of peach that avoided dimming, enduring in all conditions for an effervescent blush. For me, this blush is practical and portable.

The small powder puff distributes the blush evenly across the cheeks, forming a rich slash of shades, that can be applied seamlessly with the mirror lid.

With a skincare-infused formula comprised of 95% natural origin ingredients, the Rose Perfecto Lip Balm nourishes the lips, while conspicuously enhancing, and plumping the natural lip shape. The original Rose Perfecto formula is now supplemented with marbled shades, allowing vivid rosy hues to swirl and melt with paler, creamy particles, engraved with the signature Givenchy emblem.

Rich in hydrating properties – including rose oil and Shea butter – Rose Perfecto gave my lips a glossy guise, as well as generous hydration with striking colour, notably the shades Milky Pink and Vital Glow.

As part of Givenchy’s sustainability strategy, the outer packaging of Rose Perfecto is made from FSC™-certified fibres and other responsible sources to reduce its ecological footprint.

Encased in a sleek, dusty rose leather case, the lip balm shifts into an accessory itself, embodying the modern elegance of Givenchy
