Glass In Motion loves… Glass Animals – Season 2 Episode 3

GLASS Animals release their latest video for current single Season 2, Episode 3.  The psychedelic video created by lead singer Dave Bayley and director Whoopi sets about creating a nightmareish, pixelated futuristic metropolis. It amounts to an end result that is purposefully nostalgic, transporting the viewer into the mind of the song’s protagonist with retro arcade-style graphics. Director Whoopi combines his loves for art and computer gaming and works on a variety of projects ranging from high-profile commercials, international music festivals, and mobile apps.

Lead singer of the group hailed as true global breakthrough artists of 2016 Dave Bayley explains “S02E03 is about someone who sits around all day playing video games, web shopping, feasting on Netflix and delivered food between cigarettes. Thats what you hear in the song…tvs going on and off,  sounds that reference our fave video games, effects that were made to sound like they were off cartoon network, wavy lazy vibrato on everything…etc. The video was meant to visualize that, and what happens when you spend too much time on a computer and you try to hit ‘undo’ when you drop your chicken nugget, or when you watch too much stranger things and you start to think you can maybe move things with your mind.”

The band’s second album How To Be A Human Being was released at the end of August via Caroline International / Wolf Tone to acclaimed reviews. They have also amassed over 200 million Spotify streams with the album and sold out their entire UK, EU and US tours. Into next year they will be touring the US, Australia and New Zealand before returning to tour the UK. Their UK tour will include a show at Brixton Academy which will be their biggest UK headline show to date.
