Inversion. Caught in two minds – a beauty story by James Meakin

Inversion….Caught….something changed, it is the opposite of what it was before, something turned upside down….
“We created two contrasting characters, one with clean, raw make up with a subtle glow, natural healthy skin.
The other in contrast as an opposite, using much darker make up application, applying a thick gloss with an art sponge, which was then moved around with dotting tools.
This method creates a sense of unpredictability and imperfection in the outcome of the application, as well as a sense of fragility which amplified the identity our darker character,” – Alet Viljoen
