Fresh off the runway after her star turn as catwalk model at Givenchy’s SS16 menswear show in Paris the beyond supermodel Naomi Campbell has been announced as the face of La Perla’s new AW15 ad campaign.
It makes the first time that the premium lingerie brand has taken on Campbell as its face, and body, alongside Natasha Poly, Liu Wen and Isabeli Fontana. The new ad campaign was created by photographic duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott under the direction of the famed art director Fabien Baron.
Completing the AW15 womenswear series, the campaign sees Campbell and her peers don the brand’s Atelier Collection, launched during the Couture shows in Paris in January. The collection is comprised of many pieces that celebrate the brand’s illustrious 60-year heritage, includings ensembles that incorporate night robes and pajama trousers of ‘impossible lace’, created by La Perla’s skilled team of textile artisans in Bologna, Italy.
