DURING the spring-summer 2022 show in Paris, Lanvin debuted five exclusive bags in collaboration with Hungarian-American designer Judith Leiber. Highlighting two brands founded by strong, independent women who share the same love for creativity and fashion, the handbags bring the Houses together.
Taking the sensibility of Jeanne Lanvin’s couture roots with the contemporary, dazzling craftsmanship of Judith Leiber, the five different styles were all hand-crafted by skilled experts who have carefully placed over 10,500 crystals for each special creation.

“It was an honour and a pleasure to work with the Lanvin team,” says Jana Matheson, CCO of Judith Leiber Couture. “Our brands align perfectly with a love for craftsmanship, whimsical style, and a heritage that celebrates strong, cool women now and always”.
The Flower Kitten Minaudiere pays homage to Armand-Albert Rateau’s cat, while the Mother and Daughter Heart Minaudiere – available in red and purple – was designed to illustrate Lanvin’s logo and the Shining Star Minaudiere is a direct link to the inspiration behind the SS22 collection, looking into a new found Lanvin galaxy.

Bruno Sialelli, creative director of Lanvin speaks about this collaboration, “The minaudiere is an integral part of Lanvin’s iconography. It represents the idea of evening, of wanting to get dressed to go out. The minaudiere fits perfectly into the identity of Lanvin collections, with dresses and festive evening wear. They are a very beautiful and distinctive element”.
