LOEWE’S pre-spring summer campaign is an intimate exploration of the Maison’s new garments and accessories. Shot by Juergen Teller, and starring a roster of creatives from different backgrounds, the campaign mixes statuesque beauty with a twisted sense of humour.
Stars including Chloe Sevigny, Naomi Ackie, Leo Wu, Sandy Powell and Taylor Russell – who was recently announced as Loewe’s latest global ambassador – pose with key accessories and hero pieces from the upcoming collection. Familiar favourites including the Puzzle and and Puffer Goya bags feature alongside new pieces from the exclusive (and much anticipated) Chinese Monochrome collection.
Loewe by Juergen Teller
Inspired by ancient ceramic techniques from the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Chinese Monochrome collection celebrates the centuries of painstaking artisanal creations, with Loewe staples including the Hammock, Bracelet Pouch and Puzzle bags being reimagined in specialised shades of Pale Aubergine glaze, Tea Dust glaze and Pale Celadon glaze.
The collection is celebrated with an exhibition hosted at the ART021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair, where the pieces will sit alongside new work by ceramicist Deng Xiping.
