Louis Vuitton does Dover Street Market

unnamed

When Louis Vuitton makes an appearance at Dover Street Market, it’s big. Whether that be in Ginza or New York, where the brand set up shop last year, and now London, the world’s most iconic metropolitan concept store is fast becoming the only place to house the type of luxury that wants to push boundaries. Popping up today at the Mayfair retail utopia, Vuitton’s stay will last until October, taking over the corner window with an exclusive creative concept designed especially for the store in the first two weeks of September, conveniently coinciding with LFW.

Dedicating itself primarily to a sought-after selection of key pieces from Nicholas Ghesquière’s debut collection for the house last season, Vuitton’s first ephemeral store space will also include leather goods, fashion jewellery sunglasses and shoes that we’ll no doubt be lusting over in no time.

If you happened to be under a rock when the fashion world’s eyes were fixed on Vuitton’s standout AW14 show, you’ll now be able to get up close and personal with their newest collection and take in the new Ghesquière air, one of stylish staples and chic timeless clarity. Right in the middle of Dover Street Market’s 10th anniversary celebrations, this announcement should prove to make September an even more exciting month for those fashion pack members that appreciate the freshest approaches to concept luxury commerce.
