Magical Lantern Festival partners with three charities for 2017 launch


THE annual Magical Lantern Festival has partnered with three charities for their 2017 London, Birmingham and Leeds festivals. The Magical Lantern Festival features an enormous Christmas lights installation, unique winter grottos, Christmas markets and bars and restaurants.

There will be a launch event in each of the three cities, London, Birmingham and Leeds, the proceeds from which will be donated to a local charity. Fundraisers from the charities will be present throughout the festivals to take further donations.

The partnered charities are Great Ormond Street Hospital’s Children’s Charity for London, the Jane Tomlinson Appeal for Leeds and Birmingham Children’s Hospital for Birmingham.

The Magical Lantern Festivals will run from November 24 until January 1 2018. The launch event is on November 23.
A total of 2,000 tickets will be available for the launch. Tickets for launch events in London are available here, for Birmingham here and Leeds here
