Maison Margiela and Reebok launch TZ Pump Deadstock sneaker

PAYING homage to a pop culture sneaker icon, the collaborative product between Maison Margiela and Reebok embodies the style of the original shoe design while referencing codes of destruction and imperfection frequented by the French design house.

Margiela’s partnership with Reebok is proving to be a long-standing one. From the tabi Leather Classics, to the sculptural Instapump, John Galliano inserts his vision of destruction and reconstruction continually.

Originally launched in 1990, the TZ sneaker is the focus of the latest drop, which embodies an aged or worn look. Inspired by the natural deconstruction process of hydrolysis – the water induced chemical breakdown of a substance – the shoes ultimately to look as if they have stepped straight off of the basketball court in the early 90s and onto the streets of today.

Arriving in a series of colours, this is yet another key piece to add to your collection.
